Catholic Sector
Branch Bulletin

#1/2008
 5 May 2008

No Free Rides

Our AEU colleagues are calling on the state government to table new offers that take into account the key requirements of the AEU claims and provide better learning conditions for students. Factors that must be addressed include incentives to attract and retain staff, professionally competitive salaries, family friendly working conditions, more manageable workloads and smaller class sizes.

The AEU and the government are in dispute about YOUR next pay rise

Catholic teacher & ESO pay rises are tied to the outcome of current DECS negotiations

All Catholic school members are called to support
after school rallies alongside AEU members fighting
to bolster the profession in SA

Every Branch is asked to have a
 visible presence at these rallies
eg placards with school name and/or slogans.
