[now IEU(SA)] supports the use
of diplomacy and peaceful means to settle disputes between nations. In this context ANGEE [now IEU(SA)] supports proposals by U.N. Security Council members to give U.N. inspectors more time and resources to ensure Iraq's compliance with U.N. resolutions. ANGEE [now IEU(SA)] supports those Australians who have joined with millions worldwide in demonstrating against a rush to war in Iraq. ANGEE [now IEU(SA)] resolves to continue to endorse mass action by members in concert with the trade union movement and other community groups in opposition to war as a solution to international crises.
