The last negotiating
meeting was cancelled by the employer group because they had not had
sufficient time to prepare a response to the matters under discussion.
The negotiating team’s
request to have a short time allocated at Friday’s Lutheran Primary and
Secondary School Conferences, to talk to all staff about the progress of
the agreement and key issues was not granted. This request was denied
for the second year running.
Representatives of the
negotiating teams are working towards finding a way forward to ensure
staff conditions are maintained and an acceptable salary offer can be
achieved
