At the last meeting the employers put a salary offer on the table which
falls short of the IEU(SA)’s claim of
2.5% Oct 07, 2.5% Feb 08, 2.5% July 08, 2.5% Feb 09.
Their offer is for 2% in Feb 08, 1.5% July 08, 2% Feb 09, 1.5% July 08
The graph shows that the offer falls approximately $4,500 short of total
remuneration for a Step 10 teacher’s salary over the life of the
agreement, as well as delivering a significantly lower final salary than
sought.

The following matters are still under discussion with
the Employer Representatives:
Contracts, LSO Working Party, Leadership Points,
Long Service Leave, Maternity and Adoption Leave,
Consultation and Teacher Workload, Carer’s Leave, ,Professional
Development and AST,
Sickleave, Personal Leave, Special Leave, Country Service Incentives,
Superannuation,
Preservation of Award Conditions, Grievance Procedure.
