Union Collective Workplace Agreement 2007

IEU(SA) negotiators met with the LERG negotiators and the Employers negotiating team on Thursday 24 May to table our respective claims.

Key areas of your employer’s position:

* Removal of restrictions around casual employment and fixed term contracts
* Reduction of Long Service Leave rates to 1.3 weeks per year
* Effective use of NIT time
* Performance Management
* Teacher Registration requirements to be done in teacher’s own time
* More Professional Development to be done in teacher’s own time
* No change to AST criteria
* Changes yet to be proposed for LSO classification structure
* Salary ‘in line’ with DECS
